The Wonder Games is an indoor event that focuses on healthy eating, nutrition and exercise. Participants and audience are given a mini lesson ahead of each activity which educates them on the importance of looking after their bodies.
Schools around the country have been battling it out to win their state final and get a place in the Wonder Games Grand Final in Sydney where they can win a $30,000 sports related package for their school. Check out pictures and details of the games below!
The Human Body Obstacle Course
Children are given a life size food prop and have to make their way through the course to get to the part of the body that their piece of food is good for. See kids bounce on the brain, squeeze their way through the lips and scuttle down the intestines!
Build the Ultimate Sandwich
Giant oversized food items are given to each team and players are required to build the healthiest sandwich from their props. Running back and forth with this giant piece of bread isn't easy!
Every Mouthful Counts
These have got to be some of the biggest lips we've ever seen and this guy's hungry! Players will have to throw their life size food props into the giant mouth as it moves across the concourse.
Nutrition Quiz
Just like on the television shows, our players will be the first to the buzzer to answer our tricky nutrition questions.

Year 5/4 Henderson of Jabiru Area School, Kakadu National Park, have been holding cooking classes every week. They have decided on making toasted sandwiches to fuel their bag collection and add more Wonder bread bags to their tally. Students are updated on their bag tally at school assembly every week. This is a great effort as this town only receives 60 loaves of Wonder bread a day!
